CRUCIFIX WIDE WEB

You can join Turning to God’s Word authors Jennifer MeGaw Phelps, Tami Palladino, and Matthew Phelps for three days of Scripture-based prayers and meditation this July at Conception Abbey, a Benedictine monastery in Conception, Missouri. This year’s conferences will focus on the surprising link between Old Testament liturgical worship practices and the apocalyptic images in the book of Revelation, and how to interpret the book of Revelation in a meaningful way in our own spiritual lives. Discussions will take a deeper look at themes in the Turning to God’s Word Catholic Bible study The Revelation of Jesus Christ: The Faithful Witness.

We’ll pray Liturgy of the Hours (in English) and celebrate daily Mass with the monks. There will be an opportunity to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation, and plenty of time for private reflection in the beautiful Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. The $335 per-person cost for singles covers a private room in St. Gabriel Guest House, and all meals and conference materials. For couples sharing a room, the cost is $285 per person. Transportation to Conception Abbey is not included.

For more information or to register, see the leader of your Turning to God’s Word Bible study or  contact us directly by email.
